White and Light Luxury Apartment Interiors.

This premium apartment is located near Orchard Road and is for a young expatriate family with two young children. The clients requested for a very light and airy aesthetic. They wanted a sense of spaciousness and lightness throughout the entire apartment.

We kept most of the apartment in base white finish with contemporary European trimmings. Dark walnut was used as an accent and contrasting element. The TV console feature wall was a rare white marble finished in an acid wash. We maintained this approach stringently throughout most of the spaces. Even in the master bath, we wanted a similar contrast and paired white marble tiles with galaxy black granite.

Furniture was selected based on a sense of lightness the client was insistent upon.  Modern masterpieces like the artichoke pendant lamp and the Hans Wegner classics were high on priority. The bed and console in the master bedroom were selected for the sense of weightlessness they portrayed.

The end result is a strikingly simple aesthetic that evokes a sense of lightness and purity.
